Arab Startup Competition Training Bootcamp #ASC2021

Building on last year’s successful virtual bootcamp training, MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab decided to organize this year’s sessions as a digital hands-on program aiming to tackle some of the toughest challenges facing founders in a post-COVID-19 economy. Companies, big and small, have recently had to re-evaluate their operations and current frameworks in order to mitigate some of the risks created by megatrends such as COVID-19, economic instability, and market volatility.

This year’s bootcamp training aims to not only prepare founders to face the judges but also to provide them with the knowledge needed to grow and sustain their businesses in an increasingly competitive market.

For the #ASC2021 bootcamp training, MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab had partnered with some of MENA’s biggest tech companies and enabling organizations that are working towards fostering the regional startup ecosystem: Community Jameel (Main Partner), Zain Group (Strategic Digital Partner), Microsoft for Startups Middle East (Technology Partner), Oracle (Technology Partner), Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund (Acceleration Partner), GrowIN Portugal (Prize Partner), and Roland Berger (Knowledge Partner).

The immersive digital training bootcamp will bring Arab innovators from around the world to network with fellow entrepreneurs, benefit from each other’s experiences, and engage in thought-provoking discussions, and lastly: sit with the industry-leading mentors.

The mentorship sessions will give the semifinalist teams unprecedented access to mentors who will dedicate their time to answer all questions and concerns they might have. Also, the intimate setting with mentors has long proven to be effective in creating lasting relationships, in addition to improving the chances of semifinalists to winning the competition. As a matter of fact, we have reached out to our community partners (who are fantastic) to refer us to thought-leaders and trainers who would be willing to mentor our semifinalist participants.

In a nutshell, the bootcamp training is a high-impact 3-day event designed to connect, engage, and empower the founders to lead for a better world.

Specifically, the training sessions will vary between engaging training sessions and technical hands-on sessions that revolve around business sustainability and resiliency, cloud computing, fundraising in a post-COVID-19 economy, digital banking, and much (much) more.

MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab continues to accept applications to the 14th edition of the Arab Startup Competition -- so if you are interested in applying, make sure to start and submit your application before December 15 23:59 Beirut time.
