The ‘Arab World Meets Silicon Valley’ program will be happening for the second time in partnership with ‘touch Telecom’ and ‘Tamkeen’, and the support of TechWadi. This year's program will run from September 3-11.
The program aims to create knowledge-sharing bridges between the MENA and Silicon Valley, where some of the most promising startups of the region will gain access to a series of workshops, conferences, and company site visits, with the hope that they will benefit from the expertise and networking opportunities presented.

This year, thirteen hand-picked startups from Lebanon and Bahrain will be participating in the program, where they will represent the MENA region at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco by having their own exhibition pavilion, among other activities that are planned throughout the program. Meet the startups that were selected:
- Lebanese startups: Brate, Seez App, Smarke, MakerBrane, and Ecomz.
- Bahraini startups: WNNA, Eat App, Inagrab w.l.l., Malaeb, The Experience Accelerator, Nakheel, and Nabda.
During the program, participants will get the opportunity to get an insider view on how some of the biggest companies in tech operate. Participating entrepreneurs will do a site-tour at the Googleplex, Uber headquarters, and Salesforce tower.
Throughout the tours, the startups will attend a talk by Jill Unikel, VP Employee Marketing & Engagement (Salesforce), a talk by Anas Osman, VP of Global Sales and Product Operations at Google, as well as a panel discussion at Uber HQ.
Moreover, the entrepreneurs as well as the MITEF Pan Arab team will take part in a talk with 500 Startups investors in collaboration with TechWadi @500 startups.
The highlight of the program will be the series of mentorship sessions that will be held at the Google Community space SF and the networking event organized by TechWadi and Lebnet, where the entrepreneurs will meet Rony Chammas, founder and CPO of peerspace with Andre Haddad from Turo.
