Innovate For Refugees First Edition 2017

FLOWY is a standalone solar photo-voltaic (PV) water-recycling lavatory unit. FLOWY consists of two hand-washing basins. Used water is collected within the unit and undergoes a full disinfection process allowing it to be reused. Makeup water can be added by the refugees if needed and as directed on the digital LED screen located on the front side of the unit. FLOWY is operated using a solar PV mounted panel and a rechargeable battery pack. The straightforward design and simple access to its various parts makes FLOWY easy to operate as well as to maintain.
