BloomMasters 2017: Social Entrepreneurship Track
After several years spent closely with social innovation players in Tunisia, SHANTI's team wants to empower tunisians changemakers to find and build their own solutions to the challenges faced by their communities. Co-founded in 2016 by Mehdi Baccouche and Lobna Saidi, SHANTI is a social enterprise whose mission is to promote co-design of innovative and creative solutions to the social, economic, cultural and environmental issues in Tunisia and the Mediterranean. SHANTI develops its mission through two main axes : - supporting partners in the implementation and development of their social innovation strategy. This can be through support for strategic reflection, implementation of training, coaching and support for projects, networking and awareness raising among stakeholders. - the creation, co-creation and holding of high-potential social innovation projects on the ground, in response to the challenges identified by the communities. SHANTI is also co-founder of processméditerranée, a social entrepreneurship cooperation program, carried out with Lebanese and French partners. By developing its model thanks to its partners trust and reinvesting in the implementation of projects carried out by the community, SHANTI can act from the heart of the emerging social innovation ecosystem, empowering stakeholders and initiating grassroots projects.
