Our project, unique in Tunisia, is based on techniques of controlled breeding of sea worms, optimization of their growth for the establishment of an industrial scale breeding farm in order to produce tons of worms which Will be used for recreational fishing as well as the formulation of a marine worm food for aquaculture farms and the use of these animals for the depollution of marine soils contaminated by heavy metals. In the longer term, new species of worms will be introduced to livestock as well as the start-up of a pilot breeding unit of the Tunisian royal shrimp.
